BALANCE > BURNOUT ... The SERIES
We all wear a lot of (too many?) hats these days, and let's face it -life is stuck in fast-forward. The glorification of busy means our schedules are booked out for weeks, and we're barely treading water.
So, we present the BALANCE > BURNOUT series. The goal is to send you away from each session with 1-2 tips, tricks, approaches, or goals, with the hope that you and your life can feel balanced in these hectic times.
Our first event will take place on September 21, 2017, at 6:00pm.
6-630pm Arrive, settle in, have a snack and a beverage; mingle. (Food by Suga Me Sweet-YUM!)
630-730: Panel of awesomeness. Be inspired to own your balance, despite your busy life.
730-815: Introduction to meditation: a guided experience presented by Nate Klemp of LIFE XT, followed by Debrief and Q&A.
Hard stop and close at 9pm. (Balance = getting good sleep!)
NOTE: Spots are limited to 30, and cost is $5 (sign up and pay here). Why are we charging? Because you're more likely to show up (ahem, skin in the game) AND, we love raising money for PeopleForBikes (they'll receive 100% of the proceeds).
CAITLYN FAGAN-Bigfoot Web
Caitlyn Fagan is the Chief Executive Officer at Zenman and Co-Founder of Bigfoot Web. She has spent nearly a decade in the digital marketing industry and enjoys her unique roles at both agencies. She is responsible for making sure the vision at both Zenman and Bigfoot is realized and carried out every single day by creating an environment that fosters each company's core principals. She works to ensure that the focus is always on excellence and relationship-based business operations, in an effort to produce award-winning and innovative work for each client.
She has worked with clients such as Denver Public Schools, The Lumineers, Kota Longboards, Colorado Innovation Network, Frontier Airlines, Boppy, GolfTec, Special Olympics, and many more to help them find and tell their unique story to solve an array of business challenges and objectives. She's found that the digital landscape has the greatest opportunity to really help people by fostering great relationships, sharing knowledge, and producing work that can quantitatively grows businesses. At the end of the day, helping people is truly what drives her.

NATE KLEMP -Life XT
Nate Klemp, PhD, is a writer, philosopher, and entrepreneur. Along with Eric Langshur, he is the co-author of the New York Times Bestseller Start Here: Master the Lifelong Habit of Wellbeing (Simon & Schuster: North Star Way) and is a regular contributor to Mindful Magazine. He is also the co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer at LIFE Cross Training (LIFE XT), a company devoted to training the skill of happiness and promoting well-being. Prior to creating LIFE XT, Nate worked as an assistant professor of political science and philosophy at Pepperdine University. He has a B.A. and M.A. from Stanford University and a PhD in political philosophy from Princeton University.
KRISTIN MARIN- Suga me Sweet
Initially she traded drafting disclosures to decorating cookies, but has since added cake pops, cupcakes, cakes and other delicious desserts to the menu. She is in the process of building her commercial kitchen and will be able to offer many more options to her clients.
The flexibility of the schedule was her original draw to the career change; However they’ve grown so much in the last year, she’s had to readjust her priorities to encompass the increased business and avoid burnout.
Kristin’s favorite clients are the ones she can give back to. She often works with Make-A-Wish to create special cookie sets and treats for wish kids. She also works with the Dumb Friends League for their annual volunteer banquet and other events throughout the year.
JORDANNA QUINN-Simply Well
Jordanna Quinn, D.O, M.S. is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. She graduated as chief resident from the University of Virginia in 2010 and has been a lifelong athlete and lover of overall health and nutrition. She fully subscribes to Hippocrates' saying of, "Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food".
She began her career in private practice, focusing on sports medicine and pain management. Over time, Dr. Quinn elected to change her path in medicine and focus on truly helping patients achieve their health goals through diet, exercise and medicine combined.
Dr. Quinn presently works for Osteopathic Integrative Medicine and the Veteran's Association, and has recently started the transition to her own medical practice, Simply Well, LLC. Dr. Quinn uses a variety of traditional and non traditional medical techniques, including regenerative medicine (PRP and stem cells) for sports injuries and pain, bioidentical hormone replacement for overall health and anti aging, and diet nutritional supplements and IVs for optimal health, performance and more. She is passionate about helping patients achieve maximum health and maintain their desired quality of life.
